The Story

In January 1988, Tina Turner gave a landmark performance at the iconic Maracanã Stadium in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, as part of her Break Every Rule Tour. Performing in front of 180,000 adoring fans, Tina made history for having the largest paying audience for a single artist at the time earning her place in the Guinness Book Of World Records.
